The closest major airports to the Holiday Inn Key Largo in Key Largo, Florida are the Miami International Airport (MIA) and the Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Flights into Ft Lauderdale may be less expensive than those into Miami but Miami probably has more flights from different destinations.

It may also be possible to fly into Key West(EYW), check with your airline for availability and prices. Also note that car rentals in Key West may be more expensive than in Miami or Ft Lauderdale. By Shuttle Bus

SuperShuttle, www.supershuttle.com, +1-800-874-8885 (local +1-305-871-2000), will take you from the Miami airport (Not Ft Lauderdale) to the hotel for a flat fee of US$80 (extra luggage charges may apply if you have a lot of bags). Passenges are grouped by destination area and you will have to share the bus with other travelers going to the Keys. This may require a wait for a bus going to the Keys.

Keys Airport Shuttle, floridakeysshuttle.com, +1-888-765-9997, provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports. The cost is US$50.00 from MIA and US$60.00 from FLL. See their web site for a pick-up and arrival times.

From airport, follow signs to Le Jeune Road(NW 42nd Ave) South. From Le Jeune Road, take State Road 836 West. From SR 836, take the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) South. From SR 826, take SR 874 South. From SR 874, take the Florida Turnpike (toll) South. Exit the Florida Turnpike at the last exit and take US 1 South. The Holiday Inn Key Largo is at MileMarker 100, Ocean side (left side of the road going down into the Keys). This is approximately 60 miles and will take 1.5 hours. From airport, follow signs to I-595West/I-95. From I-595 W, take I-95 South to State Road 836 West. From SR 836, take the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) South. From SR 826, take SR 874 South. From SR 874, take the Florida Turnpike (toll) South. Exit the Florida Turnpike at the last exit and take US 1 South. From the Florida Turnpike

Take the Florida Turnpike (toll) to the last exit and take US 1 South. The Holiday Inn Key Largo is at MileMarker 100, Ocean side (left side of the road going down into the Keys).
